But I have dark spots and have read a lot that alpha arbutin helps a lot. This is my nighttime routine after washing right now. Day 1 - salicylic acid, moisturizer Day 2 - retinol, moisturizer Day 3 - hyaluronic acid, vitamin c, moisturizer Day 4 - hyaluronic acid, vitamin c, moisturizer. In the mornings I usually just rinse my face off Mandelic acid, on the other hand, is more stable and effective in concentrations as low as 5%. Vitamin C can be used both morning and night while mandelic acid is recommended to be used at night. Mandelic acid brightens the skin by facilitating the shedding of dead cells. Vitamin C does so by protecting the skin against UV and free radical Beauty Of Joseon Glow Deep Serum: Rice + Alpha-Arbutin. An in-house favorite, this serum is inexpensive and effective, a real K-beauty staple. The key actives are 68.6% rice bran water, known for its deep moisturizing and clarifying properties, and 2% alpha-arbutin, which helps to fade dark spots and prevent further hyperpigmentation.

Glycolic gets rid of PIH by exfoliating off the top layer of skin that has PIH. Done over time and combined with skin's natural renewal process, you will eventually
We humans can only make use of L ascorbic acid (there is also another kind, but we don't process it). Vit c stays in your skin 3-4 days, regardless of washing, cleansing etc. Vit c is such a powerful anti oxidant, that it doesn't just stop redox reactions, but also helps vitamin E recycling in the body.
Is it safe to use alpha arbutin, niacinamide and vitamin c together? I’m using the ordinary…. I have the 3. I’ve seen a texture improvement with vitamin c use but have only see an improvement with niacinamide when micro needling with it. Same with alpha Arbutin so wondering if the trifecta is the way to go….
buttons_chub • 1 yr. ago. I use the Pilgrim's vitamin C serum and it has been working amazing. Even though it is 5% I have been able to see visible results. Pilgrim's vitamin C is from magnesium Ascorbyl and from what I've read and understood, magnesium Ascorbyl can be used by people who have sensitive skin with eczema and all. Ok-Web-7634
[Routine help] Is it possible to use Benzoyl Peroxide and The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA in the same routine? Or do these 2 generally not work well together? I’m thinking if they cancel eachother out like vitamin c and bp.
I was worried it would be getting rid of the Vitamin C too but then I read this from this post. Vitamin C sinks into the skin fairly quickly, within 10 to 15 minutes (depending on formulation) and cannot be removed from the cellular layer through normal daily functions such as washing, rubbing or towel drying.
Alpha Arbutin is known for being a stable and safe ingredient to be topically applied to the skin. It has been seen that even a 1% concentration of pure Alpha Arbutin is effective in reducing dark spots and skin hyperpigmentation. At 2% concentration, you can expect full benefits of this potent skin lightening agent.
Vitamin c should go on after cleansing so it goes first. ETA: the thinnest-to-thickest rule does not apply to actives like vitamin C. 0RXCzhb.
